delivery
Have your orders delivered by our delivery partners!
This page contains all the information on how this works, what it costs and how to get it for your app.
Who can get this service?
- We offer delivery to all areas of the UK that are covered by our delivery partners.
- As the partners expand their coverage and as we add more partners the areas covered will increase.
- If your area is not covered please contact us and we can let you know when it will be available. Depending on your order volume we may be able to prioritise bringing delivery to your area.
- Currently Stuart is our only delivery partner. Click here to view their UK delivery coverage.
How does it work?
- Customers will make delivery orders through your app.
- They enter their address and choose a time slot for receiving their delivery.
- You receive the order just like any other but now with the delivery status and tracking info displayed.
- The order status always comes in as Pending. You’ll review the order and either Accept or Reject it.
- You’ll prepare the order ready for the beginning of the time slot specified.
- A driver will arrive around the start time of the time slot (you’ll receive a notification shortly before they do!).
- Hand over the order to the driver, that’s it! You can still track the delivery on the app to see its journey to the customer. The order status will automatically progress to Out for Delivery and then Completed when its delivered.
What does it cost?
The pricing for delivery works as follows:
- You decide how much you receive from the customer for the delivery, for example the customer pays you a £3 flat charge + £1 per mile.
- You can set a minimum order value on delivery orders, e.g the customer’s order must be at least £25 or more.
- A delivery fee to cover the delivery charge is taken out of the total order value with the remaining amount paid to you.
Full pricing example:
- £30 order + £4 in fees to customer = £34 total order value.
- £5.50 delivery fee + 50p transaction fee = £6 total fees on the order.
- Therefore you would receive £28 (£34 – £6) for the £30 order in this example.
Please refer to the pricing matrix below for the delivery fees charged at different distances and areas:*

*Please note:
- This pricing may change and be out of date. Please contact us for the latest pricing.
- VAT may be added to the above, on a per order basis, depending if the driver is VAT registered.
- Pricing is dictated by the delivery partners and is subject to change.
- Please see Stuart pricing terms for more info.

FAQs
Here are answers to the most common questions regarding using a delivery partner.
If I reject an order, will I still be charged for delivery?
No. All orders come through as Pending and the delivery and charges are only processed once you Accept the order.
Can I contact the driver or courier service?
Yes, when you view the order on the vendor app you can select Tracking & Contact in the Delivery section. Here you will see the driver contact info as well as a chat box for messaging the delivery partner directly.
Can the customer contact the delivery driver?
Yes, when viewing their order on the app they can select Tracking & Contact in the Delivery section. Here they will see the driver contact info as well as a chat box for messaging the delivery partner directly.
What if I need to cancel the delivery?
If you need to cancel a delivery you can do this from the Delivery section when viewing an order, as well as a checkbox option to also cancel the delivery when cancelling or refunding an order.
What happens if an order gets cancelled by the courier?
- In this unlikely event you will receive an email and notification that this has happened.
- The delivery fee will be returned to you and in most cases you will be provided with a reason for cancellation.
- The customer is also notified that the delivery was cancelled.
- The order status will remain unchanged so you can process it from this point as required for the situation, for example refunding the order or offering credit if they collect the order themselves.
