How to setup your
This guide has everything you need to set up your Epos Now integration with the tudoo platform.

1. Enable the Epos Now API app

The Epos Now API app is used by the tudoo system to place orders onto an Epos Now till. If you already have the API enabled for the till that will receive tudoo orders you can skip this step.

    1. Open the Epos Now back office.
    2. Go to APPS on the left panel.
    3. Search for “API”.
    4. Select the API app (white square icon on blue background).
    5. Purchase 1 instance of the API app.

If you are unsuccessful with any of the above, please consult the Epos Now support area.

2. Configure your API credentials

In this step we need to obtain and set the API credential information. These credentials allow the two systems to talk to each other.

    1. Open the Epos Now back office.
    2. Go to APPS on the left panel.
    3. Select My Apps on the left menu.
    4. On the My Apps page select SETUP on the API app.
    5. Select the API under PAGES (top right green square icon with white earth).
    6. Scroll down on the REST API page until you reach Your API Devices.
    7. Scroll to the right of the API device and click on ADVANCED.
    8. Copy and paste the Epos Key and Epos Secret and send it to us.
    9. We will respond with values to paste into API Key and API Secret fields. Click EDIT in the bottom right and enter these values.
    10. Set API URL to https://tudoo.ltd
    11. Click SAVE in the bottom right.
    12. Click WEBHOOKS in the top right.
    13. On the WebHook Triggers page click ADD WEBHOOK TRIGGER in the top right.
    14. Set Route Path to /tudoo/api_18/WTD_API/ThirdParty/EposNow/WTDEposNowCallback.php
    15. Set Event to Complete Transaction.
    16. Click ADD ANOTHER in bottom right.
    17. Set Event to Create Ordered Transaction.
    18. Click ADD in bottom right. You will be brought back to the Webhook Triggers page showing the 2 webhooks you just created.

3. Set up printing

In this step we will configure Epos Now so that it prints tudoo orders automatically. If you do not require printing you can skip this step.

  1. Open the Epos Now back office.
  2. Go to SETUP on the left panel.
  3. Select Locations > OrderPrinting on the left menu.
  4. On the Order Printer Advanced page ensure there are NO entries for the API device.
  5. Go to MANAGE on the left panel.
  6. Select Categories under Products on the left menu.
  7. On the Categories page search “Tudoo Default”.
  8. For each product category named Tudoo Default select EDIT and set ORDER PRINTER / DISPLAY to the printer you want tudoo orders to print from (e.g KITCHEN) then select UPDATE.
  9. To set up online order printing for a Windows till please follow Epos Now’s Online Order Printer Setup instructions (click here).
  10. To set up online order printing for an Android till open the Epos Now Till App on the Android till.
  11. Check the top bar on the left side for a printer icon. If there is one this likely means online order printing is already set up and you can skip the remaining steps. Swipe down from the top left to get the full details. You may need to restart the till before tudoo orders will auto-print.
  12. Navigate as follows: Menu > Settings > App Settings > Offline Order Printer Settings.
  13. If no printer shows: Add  a printer (top right).
  14. Ensure Use Enhanced Receipts is on for the printer.
  15. Navigate to Android home or minimise the till app.
  16. Open the Epos Now Order Utility App.
  17. Select the three dots in the top right and select Clear Print Items.
  18. Select Start Service.
  19. Restart the till device.
  20. Open the Epos Now Till App. On the top bar on the left side there should now be a printer icon. Swipe down from the top left to get the full details.
  21. Let us know you which tudoo services you want Epos Now to automatically print and how many copies per order.
  22. Place a test order from tudoo to ensure the printing is working. If the order does not print restart the till and try again.
